The Cruel and Deceptive replies allow you to keep the ring, although you can't do anything with the ring or sell it. She will indicate a desire to go back to Purnisc, but she also wants Kaenra's Ring back. One branch involves a Deceptive option that covers Purnisc's Svef trade, and will not result in any increase in reputation with Defiance Bay.They come in two distinct branches, but all possibilities result in her rewarding you with Unwavering Resolve. If you killed Nyrid and left Purnisc alive, you would then have multiple options when you return to Kaenra.That is ultimately immaterial, because he would still be willing to give you the discount anyway at the conclusion of the quest. It is also possible to make a Might check of 14 that earns Aggressive disposition that strongarms him into cutting you a discount on Svef purchases. Honest and Deceptive replies are possible in response to that request. If you leave Purnisc alive, he'll want you to lie to Kaenra to cover his Svef dealing ways.The Deceptive option puts the blame on Nyrid, and means that that Kaenra will still give you Unwavering Resolve. The Cruel, Honest, and Passionate responses involve admitting to having killed Purnisc, upon which she will be appalled and leave without having given you Unwavering Resolve. ![]() You would afterwards have a few choices when you go back to Kaenra. ![]() You could force-kill him, even after having killed Nyrid.
